Laura Robson has beaten Sally Peers of Australia 6-3 6-2 in 61 minutes. Sally Peers, three years older than Laura, struggled to cope with Laura’s big serve and heavy ground strokes. Laura will play Quirine Lemoine of the Netherlands in round three. Laura is the only British girl left in the junior event following Alexandra Walker and Stephanie Cornish exits on Tuesday.
